Join us in tropical Vanuatu and experience a symphony of colour - bright yellow sunshine, shades of greens in the mountains, multicolour flowers and fruit and the spectacular blues of the beaches, rivers and swimming holes. Vanuatu is home to some of the most brilliant clear, blue water we have witnessed making it an ideal swimming destination.

The retreat is located on Espiritu Santo, approximately 3 hours flight from the east coast of Australia. Santo is the largest island in the South Pacific archipelago of Vanuatu. With stunning beaches, inviting blue holes and jaw dropping natural beauty this tropical Island is an ideal swimming destination.

During this retreat we will swim in bays, beaches and blue holes. You will have a lot of time to practice the SwimMastery technique, swim with new friends and enjoy the warm and welcoming Vanuatu culture. There will be also be some time for you to relax and do your own thing on this island paradise. Our accommodation will be in twin share bungalows.

Your travel insurance should also cover you for open water swimming and any other activity listed in your trip itinerary (including races and competitions, where applicable). Please read your policy details carefully and remember to take them with you on your trip for your own reference.

  • Swimming With Us

We have a wide range of swimmers attend our retreats. These include swimmers recovering from injury, new swimmers, triathletes, families and friends, mature age swimmers etc. We tend to swim at an easy to medium pace (and there is an opportunity for faster swimming if you want to).

We swim in small groups and maintain a ratio of 1 support person/coach to every 5 swimmers. This provides many opportunities for individual attention and coaching on our swims.

We coach using the SwimMastery technique. We focus on how the mind and body work together in the water. This technique keeps your joints safe and we learn how to use body mechanics to maximise your swimming potential.
